I've been on DLA and PIP for 20 years. I've just returned my latest PIP renewal form. I'm getting stressed and losing sleep with worry as I feel there was more information I should have added. My question is - are renewals after such a length of time generally more straightforward and successful? If you say your condition hasn't changed do they consult your previous application forms? Or do they just rely on the new form you have filled in? In hindsight I should have added certain new facts, can I send information in now to be added to the my submitted form?
If there's information that you think you should have included, you need to send it in asap. I'm afraid the length of time you have been on DLA and PIP doesn't provide any particular advantage when it comes to PIP reviews. Did you read our guide to completing the review form before you sent yours in? We advise that even if people say no change they also add some sort of explanation. Most assessors only look at the last form. If you didn't make sure that you have looked at the Guide to PiP claims and reviews from page 128 benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip
