PIP changes proposals

I read in the daily express that the government is considering scrapping 87 health conditions as being eligible for PIP. Alarmingly, the conditions being considered are Osteoarthritis, Chronic pain etc. This appears to be in addition to ACDP?

If true, then this very worrying because a lot of applicants may lose their PIP benefits.

I myself was awarded enhanced for both categories with an ongoing award and Osteoarthritis and Chronic pain were two of the numerous health conditions I suffer from.

I am extremely worried at losing my award if this proposal goes ahead and I will lose a lifeline for my daily living costs.

Has anyone heard about this proposal or have any further updates on this as this is quite shocking reading and I am sure a lot of claimants are going to be worried as loosing awards or denied new ones?

I hope someone advice further on this.
