I'm due a PIP review and need some help please. I'm a little confused by the guide regarding changes in needs. My condition has deteriorated and I also have other new health issues. But I am scared from reading yoyr guide that if I say that I will have to fill in a whole new PIP form and be reassessed. It was a terrifying experience and the review is bad enough. Is it possible tp get a reply from benefits and work please to clarify? Thank you very much.
Hi SJ, If you are due a review, it is highly likely that you will have to complete a review form and undergo an assessment, irrespective of any change of circumstances. (Sorry!) I think it very important that you are honest on the form, and particularly if you do not have enhanced rate, your change of circumstances ie worsening health could lead to an increased award. In readiness for your review, start obtaining medical evidence and make a disability diary. Having already noted down the amount of times you need help and also when things go wrong or you are struggling will no doubt be of help when you have to complete the form. Sorry I can't provide a nicer answer. LL26
