I’ve just completed the application for UC. I currently get ESA Support Group.
I’ve verified my identity online and accepted my commitments which were to tell them of any change in my circumstances and check my journal regularly.
I’ve now got nothing on my to do list. I want to know if that means the migration has happened and I don’t need to do anything else apart from wait the roughly 5 weeks for my first payment?
I don’t trust the DWP after dealing with them for 20 years so I’m finding it hard to believe that everything is done.
I had a journal message that was about telling ESA about my claim for UC but I thought because it was managed migration ESA would know anyway?
Once you accept your claimant commitment, your claim then goes live, you need to check regularly your to do list, most claimants who get sanctioned is because they have not carried out instructions in their to do list.
As you were in the support group, you should be placed in the LCRWA group in your first assessment period.
