Hi smc, I think yes. You get your initial check up to ensure everything is correct, then usually yearly, unless you report any changes prior to this that you need to inform them about. Chris.

Thanks!

So do they really put all going through ESA migration into LCWRA as Gary said? Surely that leads to people getting many months of overpayment?

From experience, I find them REALLY slow to respond and a lot of times, messages are ignored. I've put several messages on our journal over the past couple of months which have all been ignored.

Hello Chris,

I would need a loan too to help me move house.
The thing is I was migrated to UC without no job centre/ telephone interview or any requests whatsoever.

Do you happen to know if I request UC for a loan, or advance or budgeting loam if in order to get the money loaned to me it will be compulsory for me to attend the jobcentre?
Because if yes, I will not ask for an advance.

Many thanks and Best Wishes!

Thank you Chris,

Your post is helpful.

I did not know there is a review of our universal credit every year.

If so, does that mean we have to have a medical assessment of our disability every year, and we have to have to fill in forms on how our disability affects us and maybe have a face to face assessment of our disability?

Your help is very much appreciated.
Many thanks.
Best Wishes!

Hi VIA,

As far as I'm aware - you just apply for an advance online and it tells you there and then what you can get and how the repayments are made. I only done this via Covid, so not sure if the rules have changed or not since.

Hi VIA,

I'm not sure if it's just people who have savings who are monitored every year or not - I just know this happens to me, and they always request 4 months back dated statements of everything that is income related. I usually have to attend a telephone interview also, which usually lasts about an hour.
