Hello, I have had a text today saying my PIP is being reviewed and the forms are bing sent. As it is almost 12 years since I completed my original PIP forms and I no longer have a copy. Am I allowed to ask for copies of the original PIP application form and award notice and if so does anybody have an email address in order to request such to avoid a long telephone wait? Thank you for your help.
If you ring, they may agree to send you a copy of the form; however, they may insist you put in an SAR Subject Access Request, which is the normal procedure for accessing old records. You won't necessarily get a quick response. I'm sorry you don't have your old records, but if you can keep every communication with the DWP.
The DWP don't have an email address people can use as standard. You would have to get permission from them - which you would need to do over the phone.
