Hi, I got my UC migration notice a while ago. Telling me that I should fill in the application by the 8th June. I understand that once I have opened my account I have a month to fill it in. I want to do it so I get the application in for 4th June, as that will help with my finances. I have just received an email telling me that if I do not open my account by the 26th April my application will be closed. This doesn't tally with the 8th June at all. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Hi Crevione

You have 28 days to apply for UC after opening the account. So you must have opened an account round about the 29 March. So just do nothing and the account will be deleted on the 27 April. After that you can open a new UC account at whatever time suits you.
