UC possible migration issue was created by CLINTIAN
Hi, after completing the online UC form as we are been transferred by managed migration we have a couple of possible issues: -

We have put down that my wife cares for less than 35 hours a week for adult husband and son in our family household [as has always been the case for many years] but it’s not showing up, and for wife says doesn’t care for anyone, we have contacted DWP and the online journal and we are getting conflicting answers [i.e. only one showing up for son or none !!!],

We had a reply from the online journal that says: - go to change of circumstance and add caring for someone,

This is my main important question, -

1. although the migration seems to be complete as the phone call we had to verify ourselves said so, if we add now caring for someone for less than 35 hours would that change of circumstance be classed as a new claim altogether? and ruin our managed & transitional protection and also stop our Severe Disability Premium or my husband would need to go through a work assessment [he is already in support group]?

Thank you again

Hi CLINTIAN

Declaring that you are caring for someone for less than 35 hours per week is not going to close your UC claim or affect your Transitional Protection.
