hi can you help me i done my esa migration on line i was in a support group on the form it said i have no work commitments
i thought that was it
today i have had a letter from the dwp about my claim for new style esa have they transfer me to this as i haven't made a claim
can they do this
i have read your 57page esa to uc migration i can not see anything about them doing this
thank you

Hi stephen

You must have been in receipt of Contributions Based ESA with and Income Based ESA top up. This being so your Contributions Based ESA becomes New Style ESA and everyone has to agree a Claimant Commitment. This can be done with a phone cal to the Jobcentre Work Coach.
