Stressed out with UC already after a day & half was created by vic
Just made the dreaded move yesterday online with the help of my housing benefit officer .
Had my Id interview today (22/05/25 ) by phone not so long ago ,was meant to phone me at 12.30pm but phoned up at 12pm .
Asked me all questions needed & said i wouldnt have to go into Job centre anytime .
Got off my phone to check my journal has advised to see this statement on Health .
It says
You said your health affects you at work or prevents you from working .
You might need to have an assessment before we can consider if you will get extra money for this .
This has set my mind in turmoil & worry has i avoid all contact with the outside world ,due to mental & physical issues & discomfort & pain .
This is not managed migration with protection if happens .
Is their anything i can say or do in my journal if tried to apply an assessment i am in no fit state to attend i wouldn't go

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi vic
I'm sorry that you came across this. This is a standard message that anyone could receive and I know it's scary, but it hasn't said that you are going to be reassessed. There is nothing that you can do at this stage and although you may want to check back - it didn't tell you that you had to do anything. You can't try and fight something that isn't yet happening.
Should they come up with a reassessment, then you need to argue that you need a paper-based decision, and you may need to get help from a GP to back up what you say.
