Hello
I appealed on behalf of my partner quite a few months ago regarding points awarded for the above.
I appealed on the grounds that the correct number of points were not being awarded under the new legislation.
Basically on there last award 4 points were given using the information that was given on previous claims.
Therefore it must surely be applied to previous claims.
We have never heard anything back even though I know they received the appeal letter as it was sent recorded delivery and I phoned up to see if they received it because it did not come up on Royal Mail as been received.....Nothing new there.
Anybody any experience of how long these things take or is it the how long is a piece of string.

Hi jackslad

I'm afraid this is a case of how long is a piece of string! If you can bear it, you can always ring the DWP and ask what the status of your letter is. They are the people to give you some sort of time frame.
