Hi Could anyone advise when my young person has to be removed from family UC claim and make their own UC claim as I am getting conflicting advice. Young person is in receipt of PIP and currently on family claim as started current college course last September when 18. Is now 19 (was 19 during Winter) and will continue in non advanced education this oming September. I have had advice that as they are on family claim and received Child Benefit they come off family claim August and make their own after family August UC assessment period but had conflicting advice they come of they day they break up for Summer break. Totally confused and worried financially. Has anyone been through similar and/or can help. Thank you
