UC Managed Migration? was created by kotenok
Hello .
This is regarding, what i think - ""Managed Migration" as the claimant received this letter- "you need to claim UC" Am i understanding this correctly if a person who was/is awarded DLA PIP and ESA and the next revision only supposed to be in 2029 carries his/her awards to a UC and doesn't need any assessment?

Hi Kotenok

UC migration has nothing to do with PIP or DLA. If you receive ESA and you are in the support group, when you migrate over to UC, you should be placed in the LCWRA group without having to supply a fit note.

Claimants in receipt of WCA can be asked to review their claim at any time, WCA it is an indefinite benefit until they are next assessed.

2. Also my mother's DWP letters do not say if she is in support group, how do we find out if she is or isn't in support group?
Thank you.

Hi Kotenok

If you look at the top of the forum, you will see a list of drop down boxes, UC is the third from the left.

The forum was set up to help claimants navigate disability benefits such as PIP, AA, DLA, WCA. UC migration is outside the remit of the forum. There are various organisations such as Citizen Advice and Entitledto that have information on their website: www.entitledto.co.uk/help/Transitional-p...ion-Universal-Credit
www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/unive...-a-migration-notice/

Your mother can contact ESA and ask, if your mother still has a copy of her ESA increase letter which are sent out at the beginning of the year, it will give a breakdown of how ESA is made up.

Hi Kotenok

The UC guides are useful for claimants applying for the work capability assessment (LCWRA).

If you click on the UC tab and then UC claims it states "Complete your UC50 capability for work form effectively"

This forum is to help claimant claim disability benefits, some mods will answer other questions which are outside the remit of the forum. As we cannot gather all the relevant information, we cannot give advice.
