I have started the process of transitioning from ESA to UC. I received an email today advising me of a telephone interview about New Style ESA; which leaves me somewhat confused as I thought that I was being transitioned away from ESA to UC- so any assistance that anyone can provide will be helpful?
Also, the date of the interview is same date that I had worked out as being when I should get my first UC payment [ie 5 weeks from the date I submitted the claim for UC] is there any significance to this?
Lots of people migrating across have been moved onto the new style ESA and Universal Credit - but because people didn't know this was going to happen, it has been confusing.
I can't comment on the date.
