ESA to UC Migration and UC50 was created by wilma2025
I have just (well almost) completed the migration from ESA to UC
I received a journal entry today with my payment amounts this morning 2 days ahead of the scheduled day.
It showed everything was ok and I am getting the Limited work group as before and I will get the top up payment to make the money the same as ESA.
10 mins later I received a second text and journal entry to say they are sending a UC50 which I will need to complete.
Is this correct? I thought the migration process was just that (I did include the legal paragraph about sick notes from this sites help PDF in my migration claim)
Obviously I am now stressed with the prospect of another assessment (which I had thought I would no have to have)
Thank you for any help

Hi wilma2025
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.
Yes it is correct, although you have been placed in the LCWRA group, which will stay in payment until a new decision has been made. As ESA is an indefinite award, DWP can review your claim at any time. As the backlog is being eroded, more claimants will be receiving UC50 forms sooner rather than later.
If you kept a copy of your previous claim, use that as a template and make any amendments that are necessary such as a new condition, change in medication.
