ESA migration to UC was created by Mollymoo99
Dear moderators,
I have went through the process which has been nothing short of a nightmare, and reading other people’s posts, it’s a serious problem.
From wrong payments, no transitional protection payments, being charged 2nd bedroom taxes, my housing association harassing me as my rent account is now in arrears.
The UC help line should just be called “line” as they do not help in any way, they tell you to phone the ESA helpline and to be fair, they have been great (I know a lot of claimants are terrified to phone them).
My question which I hope you can help me with, I have requested everything in writing which they have posted on my Journal, to be posted to me, they have ignored this request for months. Today I received a dismissive response on my journal stating “what is it you want specifically?”
I responded with “everything” and they stated that they can’t share internal documents?
Why not?
Any help I would be extremely grateful ,
Kind regards.

Hi Mollymoo99
We have heard of some horror stories on the forum and also stories where everything was plain and simple.
In regards to your question, you can ask DWP for a Subject Access Request; you should be sent all your records with some redactions, you can make the request online: www.gov.uk/guidance/request-your-persona...or-work-and-pensions
