My husband had a total knee replacement in August. The surgeon said it was a challenging surgery due to pressure existing issues with his leg. He was already on PIP and when it was renewed in September he was given same standard mobility. He's still on 2 crutches, 3 months after the total knee replacement. The constant has assigned him a senior physiotherapist who deals with patients who aren't progressing well. He has submitted a mandatory reconsideration for high rate mobility as his life is now very limited due to poor mobility. Any advice with this please ?

Hi Marie

I'm not sure what advice you want at this stage unless you're asking about timescales. As your husband has put in for his MR, I'm afraid it's a wait-and-see. Generally, claimants get a response within 6 to 12 weeks, but it can take longer. I hope you both get a positive outcome.
