Hello I'm looking at your PIP page The points system ...under your heading Additional Information there is the piece about the interpretation of Aid or Appliance - what the regulation actually says (see below) The text "or mental function" has been omitted from your page.

Could you share what the legal interpretation of 'mental function' is in the context of PIP? This would be helpful


what the regulation says about the meaning of aid or appliance:

this is what regulation 2 actually says:

"aid or appliance”—

(a)
means any device which improves, provides or replaces C's impaired physical or mental function; and

(b)
includes a prosthesis;
