Moaning post
Round Two - PIP decide
Only four point for Moving around (Mobility)
Amazing I got zero point for Reading & writing evidence of being tested in early 90s at Dyslexic institute
Total 8 points.
What a lot of stress and months waiting, just another slap in face when finally ask for help.
No point in trying again I guess.

Hi Green Fog
I'm sorry you weren't successful in your PIP application. It is an awful lot of stress. You say that there is no point in trying again, but I don't know whether you mean that or you actually want to try again. The first thing to do is get a copy of the assessment report - PA4 (that's if you had a telephone assessment) - so you can understand why you didn't get the score you were hoping for. Once you have that, you know what you are fighting against, and you could submit a mandatory reconsideration if you want to. You have one month from the date on the decision letter.

Hello BIS
I had a face to face as struggle with telephone.
I say there no point as it seems rigged. From letter PIP is not awarded for having certain health conditions.
Did think it was to help me with my day to day then trying not to move to much.
Did think with PIP I could go swimming try and help myself and body.
I'm more p!ssed I spent so much times working on form and worrying about getting PIP.
DWP would not help me fill in my form as of my dyslexia but happing to pay for a translater so they got money for that but not someone fill my form with me.
The scoring is just wrong toilet needs Zero. Were I need a toilet as my stomach not been happy from Cancer treatment I said sometimes I need just go. Looks like you have to lie and say I need toilet I can't wait.
Thanks for advice B&W David & BIS

Hi Green Fog
I am sorry. Face-to-face assessments can be really grim. Some people prefer them because they believe the assessors will better assess their disabilities because the assessor can see them, but as you have found out, that is not necessarily the case at all. Did you try to get some help from somewhere like the Citizens' Advise Bureau to fill in your form? I know you've probably had enough, but they may be able to help you complete a mandatory reconsideration if you want to keep fighting. Although you only have four weeks from the date on the decision letter to submit one - I would argue with them that you need longer because you have dyslexia and they should make reasonable adjustments so you have time to find someone to help you. They are not supposed to give extra time for MRs, but they do to some claimants. I realise I may be saying things that are too difficult if you struggle to communicate on the phone, but if you could get some help from a local welfare advisor, you might want to try again.
