DLA Appeal HELPPP PLEASE was created by eddcole cole
Hi all, been a while since ive been on here but i need a bit of advice from the uk people. I have my DLA hearing tomorrow and to be honest im scared stiff. I have fibro, chronic pain and asthma. It is difficult to walk to far without pain as you all know. Can anyond give me advice on what to say to them. Minimal excers...ion leaves me breathless and in pain and if i overdo it one day im layed up for a couple of days after and now i dont even seem to get any good days just seems to be getting worse. On top of this i have depression ( surprise surprise ). Thanks in advance

Hi edd,

Just wanted to wish you all the best for your tribunal.

My advice, just be yourself look them in the eye and tell it like it is for you. It's only an hour or so, it will be over in no time.

Let us know how you get on, I have mine this week as well and trying not to get myself all worked up about it.

Good Luck

As you are now receiving assistance from CAB and DIAL, you could ask them if there are any potential grounds to appeal to the Upper Tribunal in respect of your unsuccessful first-tier tribunal appeal, the same time as submitting a further DLA claim if you wish to take this course of action?

If so, CAB and/or DIAL will be able to advise you how to submit an appeal.

Sorry to hear that edd, at least you are on the right road trying again and with the proper help and support.

Good Luck in your new claim.

Kathy
