I meant to ask if there is any millage in putting a complaint into the tribunal service for not responding to any of my letters.
All I have asked in the letters is could they give me a rough idea to the nearest 6 months when I will get my second appeal. i.e. end of 2010 or start of 2011.
I fully understand the appeals system is blocked, but I got my first appeal within 4 weeks of my request and was told my area is not one of the most backlogged.
But what concerns me most is if my condition starts getting . I was advised by a WRO to keep my mouth shut if it does or I could lose they whole award.
The EMP came to visit me 1 year after I made the inital DLA application , but he was asking how I felt at that moment in time, not when I applied or 9 months after the application.
It's like living in an episode of Red Dwarf when all the time line goes belly up. I dont even know what year I'm in half the time

Hi there,
MY appeal papers have apparently been "logged but are not yet linked to your case" according to the Cardiff Tribunal office! I phoned as I sent them recorded delivery and like others was expecting an acknowledgement but received nothing! Am now starting to doubt that they will make their deadline of apparenly 14 weeks to hear an appeal - sounds a bit optimistic to me!
Guess I just sit back and wait for a date? Do they ever make an appeal decision based on the additional evidenace and therefore not need to go to a hearing? (or is that wishful thinking on my part?! )
Thanks!

Hi,
It does depend on which area you live in I presume. My TS in Leeds are brilliant, both on the phone and acknowledging submissions.
I also received an immediate response when I requested a Judges direction be made, it was ordered immediately.
Just a thought, if your enquiries/letters are to gain further information or dispute an issue from the DWP then put this in writing the reasons for such request, make sure you head it [Request for Direction] this can't be ignored.
Good Luck.
