Basically it means the statement they give which contains the 'reasons' they gave for granting the appeal in my favour. I understand that if I had been refused by the tribunal then I could have asked for a statement of their reasons myself. So, either side can do this apparently. Just prolongs the misery really.

thats info is interesting just applied to the Tribunal against my refusal of DLA on the grounds the medical report contained so many mistakes that it shouldn't have been used.
the report put my ME condition under the heading of a hearing problem.
stated i have not seen a specialist for my hearing then states i have seen 2 specialists.
stated i could not hear conversational speech at one metre then went on to say i would have no problem communicating.
stated my hearing was poor then moderate
the DLA used my medical for ESA to see if i qualified for limited capability for work as accurate advice on my mobility and care needs for my DLA claim.
did your medical report contain many errors ?

Yes there were certainly a few and I did draw the members of the tribunal's attention to these as well.

Update: I have today been told that the DWP "will be implementing the decision" of the tribunal and will not be appealing against it. This is a step closer (I think) and will wait for the money before I feel more positive
