disabled in sheltered housing

with all this about incapacity transfer to esa you do not hear nothing about disabled in sheltered warden control with lifeline to council control and who cannot cook and receive meals on wheels,there is there anything in the esa claim about this?

nor is there anything to cover those in Residential care Homes under the Social Services..

in fact a whole swathe of people are missing from the forms,

good point, as about to move to this type housing and with current lifeline, if on middle rate dla council , do charge, half of your dla then if on higher rate dla, your ment to pay for line line cost yourself to council, then supporting people grants of each areas of uk, is chanaging to the privte sector, whom wonder , for those really needing extra support, due to thier complex daily living needs, how will this be covered, and will any cost be passed to those trying to get by on little as it is?, so also when having carers, and not able to use new council in control, perosnal bugets, and need to have a proper care package, then after meeting the councils policy under communty care act, how, will this too, be effected with cuts in the very most in need, left to cope on own, and what if no fmaily etc, to step in and help out. Such a mind feild, to try to deal with every thing, when so called disabtibty charites are folding, leaving so many to cope alone, thne the hosuing benefit , so called new syetem, going to take shape, how will this effect those in such type of hosuisng too? so many questions, with uk government failing to help those so much in needs stil, and fake charites being set up, to get tax pawyers money to act, like they are set up to help us, but make money out of contracts, with councis and dwp etc, makes me sick, the double standards, so on 20/10/2010, wonder what the real truth will look like for all of us in real need?

My understanding is that ESA questions are directly about the ability of a person to do a variety of work related tasks, rather than how they have to live their lives which is what DLA is about

yes I agree with that but people claiming IB/SDA in other circumstances such as sheltered housing care homes etc will also be transffered.

Take the new descriptors due next March for wheelchair users, some in Care homes can self-propel so no 15 points, sheltered homes they could potentially fail on descriptors dependant on the reasons for being housed...
remember it is based on what you can do and many will therefore be able to do what the ATOS examiner asks them to do.....I read somewhere during the summer those that attend day-care centres will also be tested under WCA...and we know they want all off the support group, after all work will make you healthy.
