Cricky nothing could have prepared me for how stern and sharp the assessor was today....didnt even let me have time to take my coat off ! I think a computer would had more compassion. She was harsh, straight to the point, mechanical, no messing around with this lady and as mental health patients we are supposed to open up to these people? ? Someones having a laugh surely. I was appalled by the way I was treated however I did get alot of information across and followed the guide on this website but OMG I cant believe she was like that. I did get 2 smiles out of her. The pace was so fast the whole medical was done in 20 minutes.
You have to be quick at an ATOS medical because the doctor gets (well) paid piece rates. If you waste time talking about your medical problems you are taking up the doctor's valuable time and costing them money!
There is advice in the members' area if you wish to make a complaint to ATOS, but I do hope that you have passed the medical.
