change of diagnosis

well, now that I have a new GP the diagnosis on my Doctors Sick notes has now changed.
I have my ESA medical in the next few days and I currently have my claim for DLA Care being assessed and I already have Low Rate Mobility in place.
Does this need a change in circumstances to be informed to DLA and ESA or should I wait for ESA medical this week and show the ATOS rep a copy of my GP's medical certificate when they arrive?
thanks,
Lisa

is it a big change ? or a more detailed name for what they said you have based on more test results ?
the DLA IMO is based on needs not what they says wrong, dont know abot ESA

I knew you would be the first
The basic needs and restrictions are the same but the diagnosis is more defined now and is to be subjected to further examination by a Consultant specialist.
best wishes,
Lisa

DLA is assessed based on how your disbilities impact on your day to day life.
ESA is based on you ability to complete a set of tests, intended to evaluate your ability ot work
So, neither is directly related to your diagnosis.
If your care needs for DLA have not changed, and the diagnosis is merely a refinement of an existing one, then you shouldn't need to contact the DWP.
With regard to ESA, they probably won't even ask what's the matter.
