nearly a month since i won my tribunal and still on income support at a reduced rate very annoyed this morning so phoned the dwp again and kept being told to phone different numbers as its nothing to do with lots of departments i spoke to, eventually someone phoned me back and told me i'm on the urgent list and benefits and arrears should be sorted out within the next few days, if this happens i'll eat my hat, i thought all the stress and worry would be over once i won my tribunal but getting what i'm owed from the dwp is like getting blood out of a stone.

I don't know what the DWP are referring to when they have mentioned the 'urgent list'.
There is no such thing as an urgent list within DWP administration as all benefit payments are 'urgent', and no claimant would ever take precedent over another claimant where the processing of payments are concerned!

I know, I thought using urgent was a bit strange and i think they just used that to fob me off and stop me from phoning and nagging them about the money i'm owed, I just wonder how many more people they have told this to and put on the so called urgent list.

Well, they may not have an official urgent list, but as they must be snowed under at present I imagine they may be trying to manage the caseload. I would stongly suspect they are overworked and understaffed.
As it's this kind of situation which meant I had to give up work due to ill health, I have some sympathy for DWP workers.
Hope the system is effective in your case!

eventually got the money i was owed on tuesday 26th april took them about six and a half weeks to pay me the money they owed which was probably quick compared to other threads i've read on here and other forums, I guess it was down to me keep phoning them and nagging them or they've just sped up a bit, hopefully have a bit of peace and quiet for a few months until I get the dreaded letter and ESA50 to be transferred from incapacity benefit onto ESA
