DLA NOT RENEWED!

I've had my DLA of higher mobility & middle rate care, stopped at renewal!
I've got 20 health problems & I just can't believe they have stopped it altogether.
They sent a report to my doctors surgery & a doctor that I haven't seen for years filled it out, she gave information that she wouldn't know. I feel very let down by this.
I'm appealing, but the tribunal are so busy, they won't hear my case till October!
So I'm thinking of having a paper hearing, any advice please?
Many thanks,
Michelle

I don't have up to date figures, but I believe the success rate for paper hearings is less than 10% whereas it is more than 50% for DLA Tribunal hearings where you attend.

its not the number of things wrong that get you dla its the affect they have on you.
has your treatment or medication changed ? has someone given info on you this time who did not last time ?

It will not be long before claimants who appeal adverse benefit decisions, will also be making a complaint to the Tribunals Service about the length of time it takes to have their appeal heard!

I can't believe that I can be disabled for 3 years & then when its renewal time, they suddenly decide I am not entitled to anything!
