My transfer IB to ESA
- pete17971
Had the result yesterday and was put in the support group, that was the good point.
I have no idea as to the length (I understand this is not given anymore)so I have requested a copy of my medical to see what was said about review. The other confusing thing was on the rate of payment it said only guaranteed until Dec 2011.Will have to check that also.
Well done on getting into the coveted ESA Support Group.
It is definitely worth seeking out the information you have requested as the award letters can be somewhat lacking in detail. Having a copy of your medical report can also assist when your claim is reviewed in the future.
However you can now relax for a few months at least.

Hi AMW,
Really pleased to hear that you gained the correct assessment.
As for the date on top of your ESA award letter, many members have noted this date, it does not seem to be of any real significance.
As you may know, to obtain an idea of your length of award, (prognosis), expected review date, make a written request to the Decision Maker, by recorded delivery, at the address on your awards letter, for your ESA85 medical report.
This is also helpful in that you can spot any errors, and it will help you prepare for any possible further re-assessment in the future.
cheers
