Esa Medical

Hi Everyone, I wrote a few weeks ago about how my esa medical had been quite positive and not as bad as I thought. As I have fibromyalgia I wasn,t expecting much but to my surprise today I received a letter saying I have been placed in the support group which I am delighted about. I am over the moon that someone has actually listened to me and realised how bad I actually am. I have a doctor comming to see me this friday regarding dla so I just hope that goes as well. At least I can show the doctor my letter that i have been placed in the support group and that should go in my favour. I have to also thank this site who gave me valuble information before I attended my esa medical. I also don't have to provide sick notes anymore which is another weight off my mind.

Congratulations on getting a result and fingers crossed for you to 'do the double' and get DLA at the appropriate level.

It's a refreshing change to hear someone getting treated fairly. (How sad is that?)

Make sure you have someone with you, when the DLA doctor calls, so they can help you get up from the chair, and also to answer the door for you, etc. Good luck.
