IS and IB combined

As you have indicated that you are still receiving the correct amount of benefit payment, it is unlikely that there are any untoward implications with the exception that you will be migrated to ESA some time in the future, provided you meet the conditions of entitlement.

From what you have said your IB has not been terminated but for some unknown reason your payments have been combined. This is an unusual situation as a few years back it was DWP policy to separate individual benefit payments paid into a bank account.

Yes CD, it would seem that the OP need not worry.
I have been receiving these combined payments for about 9 years.
I must admit though when it first happened, I was a bit bemused as to why I was getting a contributry benefit paid from the IS Dept.
cheers

hi, nearly two years ago i was claiming incapacity benefit, then for some reason i was transfered to income support (long term disability) but when i asked about this i was told that incapacity does not exist anymore. this was nearly 2 years ago, just cant work it out, i have seen so many people on this forum that still recieve incapacity benefit. my son was ill the other week and on his letter from jobcentre it said that if he was sick for x amount of time he could claim incapacity benefit. what the hell is going on. i was told on not 1 but 4 times from 4 different people that incapacity benefit did not exist. 2 flaming years!!!!!!!!!!!!
DD, can see why your confused, all new claimant from 2008, were assessed for ESA.
Forced migration to ESA from IB only started in April 2011, and some people could remain on IB until 2014.
So in a sense even though IB didn,t exist from 2008, pertaining to new claimants, existing claimants could stay on it until 2014, (potentially).
Sorry his doesn't solve your querie.
