Incapacity Medical

Hi just waiting for my medical next week, build up to it has seen me loose sleep, filled in the forms to the best of my ability, enclosed all hospital letters etc., I was already exempt till 2013 so dont know why i was sent for, i receive higher rate of DLA and middle of care, have had two spinal operations , suffered nerve damange which is confirmed as permanant life is a struggle and this is making me ill any suggestions? due to see surgeon again on 30-8-11 for hip and new back proplems......

Is this your transfer to ESA you mean? I wonder because I have not yet had mine in the post and I am in a similar position to you.

You say you were exempt till 2013, was that when your IB was due for renewal or your DLA?

My IB was due for review in 2009 but I have heard nothing yet

Hi Bill, IB renewal due 2013, however have read everyone on IB will receive a medical unless you have one foot in grave or you are 65 next year, so many pitfalls its making me ill....

It is not 65 next year, it is 65 in 2013

reaches pensionable age at any time before 6th April 2014
