I am intending to send my ESA50 form in next week and from the moment I got the form I had decided I wasn't sending it in too early, for a start I needed the time to work on it as I can't do too much at a time but also I wasn't going to give ATOS any extra time than I could help.
Anyway today I am truly thankful that I had not sent the form in yet as I have just discovered that one of my conditions which causes me to have balance issues so I bang into things a lot. A few weeks ago I cracked my elbow off a chest of drawers. It was so painful at time but skin didn't break which I was amazed about and I didn't get a whopper of a bruise either. It seemed to be ok but this last week or so it has got really sore so thought it best to get it checked over and it turns out I have bruised my elbow bone! It can take a while for the bruising to materialise hence me thinking it was ok and it could be a few months before it heals completely. Needless to say this is going on the ESA50!!!
Just thought this might be helpful to others, whilst it might be tempting to get form done and sent as fast as possible, waiting could actually help as you just never know what is round the corner. Had I sent the form early I would have been unaware of the damage I had done to my elbow.
