Results of Aberdeen and Burnely trials?
- RachelPotter
The Tribunals Service had a backlogue of over 180,00 appeals in May of this year.
Surely that has impact on any other statistics regarding IB/ESA transfers?!

Thanks, Gordon, that's what I was thinking of and as you say it's only the old descriptors so not much use after all! I've read so many things it's all a blur.asdman
THe quarterly DWP statistics have the breakdowns you are referring to but the latest is only upto 10/10, so has no date for IB to ESA transfers.
You can find the reports on this link.

Just to add some statistics;
The Tribunals Service had a backlogue of over 180,00 appeals in May of this year.

Unfortunately for appellants, these figures will only get worse as the IB to ESA migration continues.

Unfortunately, it appears that less people are winning their appeals, 25% I think.

I'm sure I read a report a couple of months ago giving the results from the Aberdeen and Burnley trials of the new ESA descriptors, showing how many had passed/ failed and how many were placed in the support group. It also showed how many people had got into the support group broken down by descriptor. I can't find it now. Can anyone remember what this report was and where to find it?
These trials were done using the old decriptors I am imformed from the local welfare rights so all the people that took part in the trials and passed will all have to be retested using the the much more harsher new desciptors.
(utter farce).
