Changing bank accounts

I know this is probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway as I don't trust those in power. I currently get my benefits paid into my post office account but I am thinking of getting them put into my bank account because it's a chore having to take money out of the post office account and put it into the bank account. I need the money in the bank account because I moved house last year and although I kept the same utility suppliers they will only accept payment by direct debit. I worry about using a bank account because of all the stories i've read about the task forces and the government using equifax etc. So my question is - if I got my benefits paid into my bank account would this constitute a change of circumstances and I would therefore receive change of circumstance and compliance letters etc? I would hope not because to me a change is losing/getting a job or becoming ill/better.

No, moving where your payments are made to, is not a Change of Circumstances :)
