There's some extra detail I wish I'd put on my ESA50 to explain a particular point I made. Is there any point in sending this extra detail to the Decision Maker? I've very recently had my medical so it's likely to be another couple of weeks before a decision is made.

Providing the extra detail is 'in your favour' there is no harm done in sending it in. Do make copies of it though for your records.
Remember to put your name and National Insurance number on all the sheets of paper, and to ensure it gets there speedily sending it recorded/special delivery could be considered.
It may also be worth ringing the DWP Benefits Delivery Centre dealing with your claim to advise them further evidence is on its way.
