I suffer from Central post stroke pain syndrom after having had a bilateral cerebellar infarct,balance bad,severe pain,cant walk far without extreme pain and discomfort, why do the dwp not understand the severity of my problems? is ther anyone else experiencing difficulties who suffer from this disabling condition. :S

I don't have the same condition as you, but may be able to help if you give some more information...

In what way are DWP giving you problems? Which benefit are you trying to claim? What stage are you at with the claim(s)?

you need a neruologist to write you a report I would also download and give the dwp information from stroke web sites

you might also get through to the dwp if you use its one of it s old names its had many

Thalamic Pain Syndrome, Dejerine-Roussy Syndrome, Posterior
Thalamic Syndrome, Retrolenticular Syndrome, Central Post-Stroke Syndrome, and
often found under Neuropathic Pain.
