Hi bro58
my time in the WRAG group is 18 mth apprently this is the most time they give. he said my next telephone interview will be in about 6 mths time, but he told me to appeal before the month is up.

Thanks clio, can you just clarify, that they actually said that you would not have to attend any further WFI's if you appealed?.

Or am I making an incorrect assumption?.

cheers

I had my interview over the telephone as I have anxiety panic attacks social phobia. so going into jobcentreplus office is a nightmare for me. in my letter I was given 18mths which is the most time (so I have been told) you have to have 6 interviews it depends on how much time they have given you. when your time runs out it all starts again the ESA50 form. the jobcentreplus ask me what sort of job I wanted to do !!!

Just wondering what JCP would do if you didn't have a phone, would they come to your house, do it by post or cancel your benefits?
Also, Clio, just wondering what kind of job someone like you and me with anxiety, panic attacks and social phobia can do??? What did you say? thank you

Thanks again clio,

Once you have appealed using a GL24 to go into support group, it may then be worthwhile finding out whether you still have to attend WFI's while the appeal process is ongoing, rather than waiting to see if you gain access to the support group.

best wishes

hi mumsgirl
they wanted to come to my house first I said no as that was one of
my probs people
exactly i said what company would employ me not knowing if I would flee with a panic attack. what he did say was work from home on computer as thats what I did 5 years ago. thing is if my health was ok I would be in work not claiming a benefit and just surviving on benefit. I told him that as well.was trying to catch me out I thought!! with his questions half an hour.
