No, the PDF file is not editable, so you would have to print it first and write on it, although you could seperately compose the section covering your reasons for appeal, and include this back into the document.can you download the GL24 form, type your appeal etc then print it off and send as you can with the ESA50?

If not could I just type it and staple it to the form just writing 'please see attached'on the form intself? if that was what you meant Gordon I apologise

Hi,
Yes that is acceptable. However do remember to type your name and National Insurance Number on every attached page and numbering them (1of 10, 2 of 10 etc) is a good idea to ensure none go adrift.
Another possibility re the GL24 form though is if you have a pdf creator such as Adobe Acrobat or Openoffice/EasyOffice pdf Creator, maybe to copy and paste the GL24 into that programme and it should allow you to edit the pdf.
However from memory if doing that do not type too much in the boxes, as the more you type the smaller the print gets - it is really just as easy to type on attached sheets as above.
