I am going through IB to ESA migration and starting to think about sending off the ESA50(plus 12 sides of A4!).Should I send a photocopy of the ESA50 and copy of GP's letter to my Benefit Delivery centre? - and is there any advantage in doing that? Is that where the Decision Maker is based? - or is the Decision Maker based at the Atos office address in the return white envelope?
Best of luck and love to all who are going through this ordeal - you couldn't wish it on anybody!

Hi Francis,
Many members are also sending copy of their ESA50 + Evidence to the DM, as well as to ATOS.
It is not abosutely necessary, but you will be sure that the DM has all your evidence in front of him, and it is the DM who actually makes the decision re an award of ESA.
The Decision Maker works for the DWP, not ATOS.
ATOS are contracted to carry out medical services for the DWP, in that they issue and assess your ESA50, and carry out any face to face assessments.
The DM will be based at your Benefit Delivery Centre, the address for this should be on the original IB to ESA migration letter that you received.
It would be advisable to post all correspondence, and forms to ATOS and the DWP by recorded delivery, and keep copies of everything.
cheers
