Hi Linda,

I think this is the link you're referring to : Spot checks on sick benefit staff ordered to be 'nicer'

Best wishes.

Pat

Know what you mean Linda, had my first WFI last week and the questions I was asked were ridiculous.
I have extreme difficulty walking with bad angina, but was asked if I went round the supermarket with my wife and did I go walking the dog?

I abruptly told her I did not have a dog and Tesco's delivery works well :P

This is the link you mentioned:

Keep your chin up and remember, pay peanuts and you get monkeys

All the best

Steve

I do keep telling myself that dwp staff are under paid over worked and have 'targets' to meet... but there are still plenty who are also decent human beings... aren't there?

Replied by pompeyfaith on topic Re:OMG has anyone read 'benefit staff to be nice'
Notice how the BBC has left out the comma lol quite deceiving.

Spot checks on sick benefit staff ordered to be 'nicer'

Should it not read:

Spot checks on sick benefit, staff ordered to be 'nicer'

Yes only a little comma but it makes all the difference
