esa appeal

my sister has recently been put on the esa work related activity group after a 2nd medical...she has been mentally handicapped since birth...can anyone advise what to next..in my opinion she is not fit for any work or interviews with anyone,as she would not understand what is happening.. and i am wondering if i should appeal for her to be put into the support group...does the support group have any categories in which u have to fall into...or will her disability be enough to have her put into the support group...or do i have to accept the wrag decision...ALL ADVICE AND INFO WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED

Please read the ESA mental health guide and the appeal guide, which you can find here . They explain the requirements to enter the support group.

You do not have to accept the WRAG decision and can appeal. There is a risk, which may be minimal, that your sister's award can be reduced and this needs to be considered.

If you and your sister choose to appeal the decision you must complete a GL24 form and send it to the DWP within a month from the date of the decision to place your sister in the WRAG.
