Sandra,
Ask your G.P. to support your daughter's claim.
The MRI would be proof of the disc problem,
There should also be a report to accompany the MRI scan, which your G.P. should have on file.
Has your daughter been prescribed any medication for the sciatica?, if so mention that.
You can even ask someone who knows about your daughter's problems to write a letter confirming the limitations, you could also write a letter of support yourself, as someone who sees her limitation on a daily basis.
cheers

thank you.
she was taking ibuprofen but they had to be stopped as they were upsetting her but she has since started them again. she was not offered any more pain killers because she is young the GP does not want her to taken them now and then when she really needs them they wouldn't work. at the monment she is relying on the odd ibuprofen and a TENS machine but she has to use the machine about 4 to 6 times aday to just to be pain free for a few hours. Ever since she has found out about the disc problem her back as become worse. The other thing is i use a wheelchair and she has to lift it in/out the car and push me would that go against her claim for DLA? or eben her ESA claim? which she has just sen the form back for review.
thanks
