I really don't want to get a sanction this early in the proceedings.

The JCP may advise that you cannot speak to either of these officers directly, but don't be fobbed off and insist that because there is a potential threat to your benefit entitlement, you are entitled to communicate with these officers in the absence of the failure to return your previous telephone calls.
Explain the situation yet again and see if that brings any results, but also remember to ask for the full name of the person and the section who respond to your telephone call.

I said I thought that it was meant to be six interviews and she said no that it was up to the desecration of the advisor in question, and that also as I was on CB based ESA that meant I didn't need to be seen until three months before my review date, which she confirmed was a year from my initial award letter.
I got a wee bit confused at that point to be honest.
Also after I'd told her about my illness she said that all fitted in with the extreme range of people she'd been seeing recently, including somebody from a hospice for gods sake. She said her and her co workers were very concerned and shocked at the kind of people they were seeing for the WRAG these days as they never used to see people with such serious illness who her opinion really shouldn't be there.
All very telling I thought.

Well It turns out I needn't had worried as the advisor in question did ring me back early and we had a long chat during which she said she thought that I should maybe be in the support group and that she felt that she didn't need to talk to me again until next year.

Hi JM,
Glad to hear you have sorted the immediate problem out.
Did you request written confirmation of the advisers decision?.
If not, it may well be worth you requesting said decision in writing by recorded delivery letter, keep copy.
Works Programme providers will not want to waste their time and resources on claimants who they feel have little chance of gaining employment.
This is because they are paid by results, therefore there in no money, (BOUNTY) to be made on such a claimants.
They can receive £14,000, for getting and keeping a long term IB claimant in work.
So I don't feel that they are doing claimants such as yourself any favours.
It is a profit driven decision.
cheers

No I didn't ask for written conformation. You've managed to worry me now.
So should I ring them yet again and ask or can I write to my local office?
