When did you send your ESA50 back? I was just wondering how long it has taken. I sent mine off last week.

Hi Jessica - I am definitely going to appeal. I'm really hoping I can win at the reconsideration stage because the idea of going to a tribunal is beyond awful. I will have to see what my options are/how I'm doing if the reconsideration turns me down.

It took 4 weeks, I thought it might have been longer with the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The time taken to hear back after you send off an esa50 varies a lot. I heard back (recently) in 4 weeks but lots of people on here have reported much, much longer waits. I think 4 weeks is unusually short these days.

Yeah, same here. The thought of it fills me with horror. I suppose they want us to feel like that so less people are strong enough to fight the decision

Hi, I would appeal. I am inn the support group but am awaiting my second decision from my esa 50 form, I sent my form off 12 weeks ago and still have not anything.
Sue
Susan can I ask if you were placed in the Support Group from the start the last claim or did you have to appeal it? Good luck for this time.
