If it your intention that the report should appear to have been penned by your daughter, you are merely putting her words to paper, then we would normally recommend that it is written in the first person.
However, if you are writing it on her behalf because she is not capable of contibuting to such a report, then we would recommend it being in the third person.
In either case you should make it clear that you have produced the report and why, to avoid confusion over her capabilities.
