Just received a letter today telling me my Wrag appeal has been succesfull after reconsideration before an appeal, and now in support group.
Thanks to all the help from Benefitsand work.
I was not happy with the orig decision seemed to gloss over my disabilitys in the orig report,
Completely missing out one of my disabilitys,
And did not mention 4 consultants letters I sent with the ESA50.
The letter awarding the support after reconsideration does not go into any detail whatsoever.
My questions if anyone can help are.
Will another ESA85A Be available for the reconsideration.
And can I request the second reconsidered ESA85A
It does not state how long the award is for.My WRAG decision was for 2 year.
I would like to get as much info as possible with PIP in mind.
Also will my award be back dated Big Thanks to alll AT BENEFITSANDWORK.

Congratulations on the award.
It is unlikely that there will be a new ESA85A, but there will be an LT54, which should document the revised Decision, you should be able to get a copy by requesting it over the phone, as always we recommend following this request up in writing.

Hi fg,
That is great news !!!!
Well done.
The LT54 should contain the prognosis, which should have originally been recommended in the ESA85A.
The DM may choose to stay with the original recommendation in the ESA85A, or he may have changed it.
When you phone up, they generally have the prognosis "on screen", that's if your file has been updated to take into account The reconsidered SG Award, of course.
When making the written request, you could stipulate that you wish to know the recommended length of time before you will be reassessed. (the prognosis)

Hi fg,
Yes, you should receive any difference between what you have been receiving in The WRAG, and what you would have received in The SG, from the date of The WRAG decision that you successfully appealed.
