Hello all
I'm new to the forum so be kind to me please,
I also have fibromyalgia and had my ESA medical today. I feel positive (but you never know about these things) because when the Dr tested my reflexes I said ouch and I explained how much I hurt, and that I hurt like that all over. He then immediately ended the whole medical. I also know I have the support of my consultant, who said two weeks ago if the medical didn't go well I should talk to his secretary and they would write whatever letter was necessary but I should not be working,
Anyway, has anyone else had this experience of the medical ending abruptly? (the chaperone in the room seemed surprised too)They never asked me about if I used a computer, if I could hold a pen, or any of the questions I was expecting. And am I right in thinking this is a good sign?
I got the results today - I'm in the WRAG and the letter says I'm entitled to both Contribution based and income-related ESA. I presume this means I'm safe (until the next medical)?

Hi,
If you have been put into the ESA WRAG, on a decision by the DWP DM, then this award will not change, as long as you abide by any requests to attend WFI's, or Work Related Activity, or as you say, as a result of any future re-assessment.
cheers
