Hi,
got a letter from the tribunal service end of october to say husbands appeal was today, didn't really have much time to prepare as it was a short notice thing he has only waited about 6 weeks all told, but never mind all that the best thing about it is he WON and they have placed him into the Support Group not to be reassessed for 2 years by that time he will be 64+, do they reassess people of that age??
So many thanks for all the info and help on this site as I would have not been able to help him without you, just to add I had no help or advice on preparing and writing a submission from anyone , and only on this site found guidance so many thanks yet again,

That is great news Maggie! Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about this site
It will take a while for DWP to action this, you might be able to speed up the process by sending a copy of the decision letter to them.
I should warn you the the length of the award is only advisory. DWP can, and do, ignore this. Hopefully you will be left in peace now until you reach State Retirement Age.
