ESA and Migraines was created by carole
First time posted on Forum, so new to this.
Been on ESA for few months, went to my f to f assessment, Got it recorded, recieved the decision
in post, scored 0 points. Report was as though it had been another person they were talking about. Was all lies, the answers i gave on recording was differant to the written report of the medical assessor who assessed me. I suffer from Migraines every two weeks faint or black out with this. Cluster head aches daily, anxiety, depression, stomach cramps, severe diarrhoea. I am now asking for Mandatory reconsideration. My question is can you use the recording that was made in the ESA f to f assessment as evidence other wise what is the point of getting the assessment recorded. Would also be grateful for any help advice given, anyone who suffers with Migraines, faints, blackouts, who has been through similar situation.

I'm afraid the Decision Maker will assume the report is an accurate reflection of the assessment unless the Assessment Provider with draws it.
The DM should have a copy of the recording but I would be very surprised if they will listen to it, you would be better of quoting excerpts from the tape, stick to issues that score you points, but make sure that you understand the criteria against which you are being assessed against. For example the faints and blackouts may score you points but the diarrhoea may not.
Be prepared, revision rates at MR are low and you may need to go to appeal.
Hopefully other members who experience faints and blackouts will comment.
