TOPIC: how long to wait for Assessors report

how long to wait for Assessors report 11 months 1 week ago #170518

I had mine relatively quickly after I sent the forms back. Not sure whether I was just lucky in that respect. No lucky though because they refused me and I am in the process of doing a massive letter picking their report to pieces for a Mandatory Reconsideration.

It's the ESA one I am having to wait for that is pissing me off. Been waiting for a home visit now for 6 months and still nothing

how long to wait for Assessors report 11 months 1 week ago #170540

Hi

I had my pip assessment on the 5 September and a text from DWP on the 8 September to say they have all info etc. On 9 September I phoned for the HP Report. On 3 October the decision was made. Chased the HP Report on 7 October and told it is on the system but no action taken on it yet by case manager/decision maker. Still not received the report.

It's highly likely that the assessor wrote comments to the decision maker so hopefully if the guidance given to tiredteddy is correct I should receive it by the end of this week.

I'll update when received.

I finally received the Atos Medical Assessors report today exactly one month after I asked for it. The Assessor has made his own scores and the Decision Maker has just copied them down. However, there are several lies on the Assessors Report, inaccuracies and a lot missed out!. I guess I will have difficulty proving this as it is my word against his (although I had a witness with me I did not have it recorded). However, I now have some additional evidence which illustrates the damage to my hands due to Rheumatoid Arthritis, so hopefully this will help me with the MR. The Assessor says in his report I have full functionality in my hands which is one of the things that is incorrect.
